18ct White Gold, Aquamarine & Diamond Ring
Derived from the Latin aqua marina, or 'sea water', aquamarines were once believed to be a precious treasure from mermaids.
This handmade 18ct white gold aquamarine and diamond dress ring features a 7.34ct emerald-cut aquamarine, bookended by two baguette diamonds and two tapered diamonds, weighing 0.44ct. The band is set with 12 round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing 0.12ct, for a total diamond weight of 0.56ct.
Princess Diana famously owned an emerald-cut aquamarine ring flanked with diamonds and set in yellow gold, which she wore during her 1997 visit to Sydney.
