Pearl & Diamond Necklace Clasp

Ever seen a pearl that's been split in two? You have now.
This one-of-a-kind necklace clasp was handcrafted at the Matthew Ely Jewellery Workshop & Boutique. A single round South Sea pearl was carefully divided and reassembled with a platinum band at its heart. Set with 16 round brilliant cut diamonds (2mm each, totalling 0.52ct, F/VS), the diamond-set band glimmers as it bridges the two halves of the pearl.
The clasp has been custom made in 18ct white gold, securing a graduated strand of round South Sea pearls.
