18ct Yellow Gold & Platinum, 5.01ct Yellow Diamond Ring

This 18ct yellow gold and platinum handmade Art Deco diamond ring was custom made for a Matthew Ely client.

The ring is set with a 5.01ct fancy yellow, radiant cut diamond, two hexagonal white diamonds, weighing 1.24ct, and shoulder diamonds around the band.

Yellow diamonds account for about 60% of all coloured diamonds, and get their colour from the presence of nitrogen in their crystalline structure. The more nitrogen, the more intense the colour.
