Matthew Ely Jewellery is on the hunt for an experienced jeweller, with a strong background in custom-made designs, gemology, and direct client consultations. You will also be an experienced artist, with the ability to sketch and paint jewellery from scratch.

Previous Experience & Skillset 

Strong experience in jewellery handcrafting and design (ideally on both a local and international scale) – minimum 5 years

An artistic background, with ability to draw and paint quality, print-worthy artworks of new and existing pieces.

Qualification or strong understanding of gemology.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to creating the highest standard of jewellery.

Experience in resizing, repairs and jewellery restorations/remodelling.

Fine setting skills.

Experience working in a retail jewellery store, including direct customer consultations.

Strong presentation skills, with the ability to host small and large events as required.
